1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Swepod, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Swepod is an AI-powered platform that transforms text, PDFs, URLs, and custom scripts into podcast-style audio content. We offer free and paid subscription plans with varying usage limits.

3. Accounts

You must sign in with a Google account to use Swepod. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must not share your account or use another person's account without permission.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe.
• Usage limits reset at the start of each billing period.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
• If a payment fails, your account will be downgraded to the free plan.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at swepod2026@outlook.com.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Swepod to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or hateful.
• Impersonate real people in a misleading or defamatory way using AI voices.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use (copyrighted material without permission).
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or abuse the service.
• Use the service for spam, scams, or misinformation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Content Ownership

• You retain ownership of the content you provide to Swepod (text, PDFs, URLs, scripts).
• You own the podcasts generated from your content.
• By using the service, you grant Swepod a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of generating your podcast.
• Swepod does not claim ownership over your generated content.

7. AI Voices

Swepod provides AI-generated voices for podcast creation. These voices are provided by third-party services. You are responsible for how you use generated audio content, including compliance with applicable laws regarding AI-generated media and voice likenesses.

8. Limitation of Liability

Swepod is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the past 12 months.

9. Service Availability

We aim to keep Swepod available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime from third-party service issues. We are not liable for any interruptions to the service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Swepod after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the app.
